BCCA BOARD MEETING

- Attendees: Rich, John, Mike, Lourdes, Shewana, Ronnie, Anthony, Liz
- Rich and Lourdes attended Community Board meeting on 2/25 and voiced opinion over Little Neck Pkwy building. BCCA members against granting less spots to Owner. Lourdes also stated that there were folks that maybe against daycare and gym
- Jim (not present) attained confirmation from Senator John Liu that $250,000 for Reading Garden has been confirmed and is being transitioned
- Belmont coalition setting up a rally against arena project for 4/13. Coalition trying to get all Civics to attend
- Members expressed issues with NCO response time. Ron called NCO for incident with a package robbery of his next door neighbor, they responded 45 min later. Ron will address at 105th precinct Community Council on 2/27
- Senator John Liu attending General Meting on March 7th
- Food scraps still being collected and still voluntary. Lourdes stated that it will be mandatory in future
- St. Gregory the Great Festival is having their 40th anniversary. Latin night is June 23rd
- Delivery of flyers for Aguilar routes will be assisted by St. Greg’s 8th graders needing Community Service for Confirmation
